Lakes Animal Friendship Society has focussed on dog bite safety for over ten years. About half of all children are bitten by age 12 – most often by the family dog or a dog they know! We help children learn how to properly meet dogs and understand how dogs communicate.
Lack of proper supervision of dogs and kids is a common problem. When we supervise dogs and kids, and know what to watch for we can help keep everyone happy and safe!
